BRITISH DIPLOMACY TOWARDS FRELIMO
Diplomacy is the art of sending someone to hell in such a way that they ask for directions. is a paraphrase of the words of Winston Churchill who once said that "diplomacy is the art of telling someone to go to hell in such a way that they feel increasing excitement at the thought of the upcoming expedition".

Whether this is what the Embassy of the Kingdom of Great Britain said yesterday was about, it is difficult to determine, perhaps this is a statement written by some third-rate third secretary of the embassy. Even in diplomatic administration there are people who are uneducated, lazy and sometimes just stupid. Perhaps His Majesty's British diplomacy made a simple blunder after all.
Even Queen Elizabeth II, as a child, performed a Nazi salute. In 2015, a British newspaper revealed a film from the early 1930s showing King Edward, Elizabeth's mother, and herself, all portrayed in a Nazi salute. Nevertheless, it did not prevent the British from bravely fighting the Nazis on all fronts of World War II.
Such a Gaffe the British of course had more, sometimes unintentional and sometimes intentional, you have to remember that Great Britain is an island separated from Europe, even though it was a member of the European Union, Great Britain did not join the common European currency, the Euro, Great Britain and the British have never been a nation of solidarity in the context of Europe, always remembering the empire on which the sun never set the empire that derived the greatest profits from colonizing almost the entire world.
The lack of British Solidarity with the world of free people, i.e. typical European values, led Great Britain to leave the ranks of the European Union, which is even worse because it was not an ordinary administrative decision but the Will of the British people voting in the referendum.
Whether yesterday's congratulations from the British Embassy are a message to the Frelimo Party and the Frelimo government "to go to hell" or is it really some bureaucrat's scolding, only time will tell.
